EMS is the career field I've opted for after almost 4 years of doing fire from explorer to now. Not fire 1 but I thought I would. I didn't. Anyways just did my ride time yesterday for EMT class. Made 9 calls from 7am to 7pm. It's when I realized this is something I definitely want to pursue further to a degree

Grateful every day for our nations First Responders. I hear a siren or our Life Flight helo....I whisper a prayer for the responders and the patients....I don't know if prayer "helps" but it doesn't cost a thing to do and certainly doesn't harm anyone.
Be safe, talk to each other and seek counseling for your grief, be blessed and Thank God for compassionate humans like y'all.
